Documenting The Biggest Gaming Conference in East Anglia
By an event photographer and videographer working across Suffolk, Norfolk, London and beyond.
Game Anglia’s festival is the cornerstone of the gaming community in East Anglia,
bringing together developers and game lovers for a day of networking, inspiration, knowledge and connection.
This year over 200 people gathered at the University of Suffolk to hear from industry leaders Maria Barte, a game designer
at Electronic Arts and Catherine Bidwell, founder at State of Play Games, celebrate the gaming culture
in East Anglia and get a chance to try out some games.
I was on hand to document the event and take keynote speaker portraits so they had strong visuals to celebrate the festival.
My goal was to ensure to capture the energy, excitement, professionalism and to showcase people involved.
When you invest in professional event photography or videography, you are preserving
the event and will have visuals you are proud to share.
My approach: insightful, friendly, professional
When photographing and filming Game Anglia, my focus on being approachable, making sure I blend
in with the crowd capturing natural interactions without disrupting the flow of the event.
Being respectful so attendees are comfortable while they are learning and networking.
My goal is to be unobtrusive, ensuring they feel comfortable and free to engage without
a photographer being in their face. With years of experience covering conferences, events and festivals
across Suffolk, Surrey, Norfolk and London I know how to plan shoots, handle lighting challenges and deliver consistent quality.
